Well appointed and decorated in “country decor”, the cabins also have TV/VCR, a fully equipped kitchen, and the large wrap-around porch to view mountains and forest.
Located on 400 acres for your personal enjoyment. There are trails for anyone who enjoys 4 wheeling, hiking or mountain biking. The Hideaway is also conveniently close to the Ouachita National Forest with abundant fishing and hunting as well as many other recreation opportunities such as hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing.
Take a drive on the Talimena Scenic Drive, and enjoy the beautiful vistas of the Kiamichi and Black Fork Mountain Ranges from atop Rich Mountain.
A visit to the Queen Wilhelmina State Park is a must do!
Sure there is a lot to do in the Ouachitas, but don’t forget that just staying at the Hideaway may be all that you are looking for. From the vantage of the expansive porch of the Hideaway you can relax, and simply enjoy the view, peace and quiet , and watch for wild life. Location: The Hideaway is located 2 mi. from the Christian Motorcyclists Association Campground and only 7 mi. from Mena, Arkansas. It has a good road and easy access.
